From Goodreads. Kate Winters has won immortality. But if she wants a life with Henry in the Underworld, she'll have to fight for it. Becoming immortal wasn't supposed to be the easy part. Though Kate is about to be crowned Queen of the Underworld, she's as isolated as ever. And despite her growing love for Henry, ruler of the Underworld, he's becoming ever more distant and secretive. Then, in the midst of Kate's coronation, Henry is abducted by the only being powerful enough to kill him: the King of the Titans. As the other gods prepare for a war that could end them all, it is up to Kate to save Henry from the depths of Tartarus. But in order to navigate the endless caverns of the Underworld, Kate must enlist the help of the one person whom she would really rather not meet. Henry's first wife, Persephone.

GODDESS INTERRUPTED, by Aimee Carter, is the second installment of the Goddess Test series and it is non-stop, always keeping you on the edge of your seat and eager to keep turning the pages. This is a one sitting book because once you start, you can not put it down. I was so impressed with the Goddess Test that I dove right into this one hoping beyond hope that this would be amazing and oh boy it was!
This is one of the best books I have read recently. The entire book I was eager to find out what was going to happen next. The story was well written and the characters easy to relate to (as much as you can relate to Gods and Goddesses). The development of the main character, Kate, was spectacular throughout this novel. She transforms from a young teenage girl to a beautiful, confident, strong Queen of the Underworld. I felt like she was really able to find herself and find out what she wants and how she will conquer everything that stands in her way. I loved all the characters in the first novel (well, most of them) and I was happy to see that in the second installment we were able to dig a little deeper into the characters. I didn't think they were flat before, but now they are all a little more blown up. I was glad the Gods and Goddesses had a bigger part in this story. I think it really added to the bulk of it and provided a better understanding.
I flew through this book and Carter finished with a MASSIVE cliffhanger! I am eager to see what adventures/misadventures Kate gets put through next! The writing was well done and the plot so fast pace that it is impossible to put down! Well done Aimee Carter, I am desperate for more!

I love the premise of this series and look forward to a chance to read them. Glad that the sequel just gets better.
