Once Upon A Read-A-Thon: Wrap Up

This read-a-thon did not go quite as expected for me. I was sick with a head cold from Sunday through today so when I was not working I was sleeping. I did not even finish a whole book (Currently reading: Hold Me Closer, Necromancer) but I participated in some of the mini-challenges so here goes:

The Eager Readers: Favorite Fictional Characters Challenge

Part One: List favorite fictional couples
1. Jamie and Claire from The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon
3. Clay and Elena from Women of the Otherworld Series by Kelley Armstrong
2. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Part Two: Crossover Couples
Gale from The Hunger Games Trilogy and Jane Bennett from Pride and Prejudice. I think they are both sweet and would love each other unconditionally. Plus I need to get Gale out of the picture so Katniss and  Peeta can be together, lol!

A Blog About Nothing: Books Made Into Movies

I know The Hunger Games is going to be made into a movie but here are my choices for the main characters:

Katniss: Malese Jow

Gale: Ben Barnes

Peeta: Alex Pettyfer

Haymitch: Robert Downey Jr.

This read-a-thon was a bust for me but I had fun with the challenges. I hope we can do it again next year! :)
